Now I know a lot of people grew up going to this park and I admit when I moved here in '93 it was an ok place. Maybe it was because I had been to Magic mountain in Cali, and even the park in Arlington, but in my opinion Astroworld sucked. Last year my wife and I went to spend they day riding the coasters and feeling like teenagers on a date. After only 2 hours we left. The park is extremely dirty. Trash all over the place, picnic tables were nasty. The tables where you eat were full of sticky substance and parts of the park smelled like sewer back up. Not to mention that thanks to the season pass many parents were dropping off their teenagers for the day which meant that the kids just ran wild through out the park. Now these are not innocent fun loving kids, these are the thug kids who think they are bad ass and cool. This past season the park was plagued by gang fights and assaults. So in a way I am happy to see it go. You shouldn't be afraid to go to a theme park. Hey maybe we can get Disney to buy it, now that would be cool!

Goodbye!! You sack of crap!
